Hint Fiction

"Personally, I’ve always believed a writer should try to find a strong middle ground in his or her storytelling — a place where they can meet the reader halfway, just giving enough detail that the reader’s imagination is then able to fill in the rest. Those, I believe, are the best type of stories, because the reader becomes engaged in the process."

This is one of the random books I found at the library yesterday and some of the stories blow my mind away with what they don't say! There were several where I could totally imagine what might have happened before or what might happen after.

I like the idea of a writer and a reader meeting halfway. Actually, I really don't! lol I love book series because I like to know what happens to the characters, not just imagine it. I know they're not real people, but they usually feel like it to me.

Now I'm all confused! As per usual, my brain and preferences just contradict each other. WEIRD!

I'm going to try and sleep for an hour before I have to start getting ready for school. Tonight...AMBIEN and bed by 9ish!
